Las Danna lies around 15km from Bagh town but feels considerably farther away once the road begins climbing. The route gains height quickly, trading the busy valley floor for forest, open slopes, and increasingly wide mountain views. It is less about a single landmark than the journey and the change in landscape — stop at viewpoints, walk short sections of ridge, and let the road itself become part of the experience.
Why go
Las Danna works particularly well for travellers who enjoy scenic drives and uncrowded viewpoints. It also introduces the more rugged country that continues east toward Haveli and the higher Pir Panjal — weather can change rapidly on the exposed upper sections, and low cloud is common.
Leave Bagh early, keep the day flexible, and avoid planning tight onward connections after a mountain-road excursion.
